Overview

Businesses and business schools have long been aware of the need for accountability within organizations, however, these needs have only recently been expressed by the primary business education accrediting body - the AACSB. Although PASS-PORT was originally developed as an assessment and electronic portfolio management system for teacher preparation programs, this strong foundation has led to the development of unique features that provide sophisticated assessment and reporting techniques to business faculty and administrators.

Strategic Management Standards

PASS-PORT provides a systematic way to evaluate your students' achievements in light of your school's mission statement and departmental outcomes. The aggregate assessment data produces powerful reports that can help identify strengths and weaknesses in your programs' designs. Using PASS-PORT to collect and analyze performance data represents a deep commitment by a school to the ideals and techniques of continuous improvement.

Participants Standards

PASS-PORT is a collaborative system that works to diffuse the efforts of assessment amongst all participants: students, faculty, and administrators. This interaction can generate actionable information that can help substantiate the characteristics, interactions, and utilization of the human resources that constitute the learning community of the school.

Assurance of Learning Standards

PASS-PORT gives your faculty and administrators access to a variety of assessment venues to ensure that all students are meeting the learning objectives of the school and their programs.
